Leggings have been an on-going trend for several years starting in the 80’s and are now really back in style. They originated in the young Hollywood scene, but now are becoming a nationwide typical accessory to be worn with a variety of different outfits, including long sweaters, longer shirts, dresses, underneath pants to keep warm, etc. Lindsay Lohan shows off the fashion trend wearing leggings with a strapless dress and cowboy boots. Leggings are also a great trend for the perfect excuse when you over- exceeded your calories for the day and are feeling like your jeans aren’t buttoning or are showing off your love handles. That’s where leggings come in because they hold you in enough to feel great about your body and will most certainly complement your outfit.
